Happy mothers day everyone!
So I am still in Villa Anita, but now I have a little baby missionary full of life and love and exitement. Emphasis on the exitement because we get lots in the area sometimes and then we have to run the rainy slippery stones to get back to the house in time.
Also she in her past has only worn sports bras and got here with not much things like make up because she was really busy, so today I had the chance to go bra shopping in a super (that is full of the elders in my zone) with by little guatamalteca. Oh man. The things you do for your kids.
But oh my gosh is she exactly what I needed or what. She loves having fun and enjoying the m ission through working hard. I think my last comp knew how to work hard but I oh how hermana guevara knows how to smile.
Also we had a baptism, and for the first time in 7 weeks I can sigh a breth of relief that por fin we are starting to baptize in villa anita. We really struggled as a zone and I feel so much pressure to be the kind of hermana that is an example to the district and the zone. Also that my hija was going to stuggle because we werent baptizing, or didnt have people going to the church, because I suffered mucho in training a little bit. But I have to help her send pics of her 1st baptism to her fam. So proud of her.
Love mucho,
Hna Jarman
